FragCut is a subscription. There is no free tier that produces clips: a free account can preview AI highlight detection but must upgrade to export. Both paid plans include commercial usage rights, so clips can be monetised without attribution.

## Plans

| Plan | Price | Clips per month | Max upload | Support |
| ---- | ----- | --------------- | ---------- | ------- |
| Creator | $19.99 / month | 30 | 5 GB, videos up to 4 hours | Email, 48 h |
| Pro | $49.99 / month | Unlimited | 5 GB, videos up to 4 hours | Email, 24 h |

Both plans include:

- Videos up to 4 hours
- AI highlight detection
- Vertical (9:16) or horizontal (16:9)
- AI subtitles burned in
- Fine-tune editor
- Montage maker
- Drag & drop reordering
- Processing: 15-30 min (local upload)

Creator is the most popular plan. Pro adds unlimited clips and faster support. There is no annual plan yet.

## How clips are counted

- One credit is one exported clip. Creator gets 30 credits a month; Pro is unlimited.
- Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
- Upgrades are charged immediately and prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period.
- Processing takes about 15-30 minutes per video; Twitch URL imports add download time before processing starts.

### Worked examples

- Creator at $19.99: 30 clips is about $0.67 per clip.
- A streamer posting one clip a day needs about 30 a month, which fits Creator exactly; two a day needs Pro.
- Pro pays for itself over Creator at more than 76 clips a month.

## Refund and cancellation

- 14-day money-back guarantee on any payment, no questions asked; contact support within 14 days
- Cancel anytime from the account; access continues to the end of the billing period, then the account downgrades
- Payment via Paddle: major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay
